I am always on the look out for products to give my eyebrows better shape. Then one day a couple of weeks ago I was perusing the isles of Boots when I spotted this Soap and Glory Archery product; brow tint and precise shaping pencil. I had to give it a go.
I must say I am very impressed. It is a double ended device. The tint side is almost like a liquid eyeliner but not as strong, and with it’s foam tip it makes it easy to draw the desired shape of your eyebrows. I drew the outline with this side, (I like a fuller looking eyebrow). Then I coloured it in with little flicks using the pencil side for a softer effect. It was so simple to use.
I particularly like the tone of this brow pencil. I have often bought eyebrow pencils that are too warm in tone, making my eyebrows look slightly orangey. This one is cool enough in tone to look more discrete and far more natural. The only draw back for me personally is that there are only two colours to choose from; brown and blonde. My hair is dark blonde/light brown so when I put a brown colour brow pencil on it can look a little severe. Although this might be a fairly good match for my brow hair, it is to dark for me over all. I have been looking for a brow pencil for the “not quite blonde and neither a true brunette” person that I am.
I think this is a great product, If you fall into the brunette or blonde category give it a go. It’s quick, it’s simple, very user friendly. It also has aloe vera and chamomile to condition the skin as well as vitamin E….. as everyone needs some antioxidant power on their eyebrows right?
For me the search continues for an everyday brow pencil colour, but for sure when I am doing a full face of make-up this will be the pencil I reach for as it won’t look to OTT with some bright lips to boot.
