As mentioned in my previous blog, I attended wireless Festival this year and I had loads of fun. I got to see Pharrell Williams (ahhhhhhhhh) who was my absolute highlight as well as the lovely Iggy Azalea amongst other wonderful performers and last but not least Kanye West; who went on a rant about Nike treating artists like terrorists amongst other things, not quite sure what happened there……… felt slightly like a really weird therapy session en masse. But in spite of that it was great.
This was the look I went for, thankfully it was a hot day. I am loving the patterns that are in at that moment this Bralet is from Topshop for £20, I paired it with the Blue blazer from New Look for £22.99. I love the opposing colours and conflicting patterns coming together, it’s something that shouldn’t work yet it does. They clash so bad they just look oh so gooood.
The shape of the Bralet and the Tiki retro print looks rather 1950’s, and for me that period of time makes me think high waisted for sure. I bought these high waisted denim shorts also from New Look for £17.99 topay homage to the 50’s retro look.
Lastly as if I wasn’t wearing enough pattern, I chose these floral print Espadrilles from New Look Priced £8.99 to complete the look. They were so comfortable, perfect for standing all day but they weren’t only practical they look funky too, a great buy.
